Switch and dim lights, raise and lower blinds, control the room temperature, save and display individual lighting images: with Theben iON pushbuttons and room controllers, a wide range of functions can be accessed at the touch of a button in any KNX-based smart building or LUXORliving smart home.
The iON push-button sensors are available in several versions: one-piece (2 buttons) or two-piece (4 buttons) and as a room controller with LC display and Bluetooth interface. Depending on the device, up to 20 functions can be controlled with a single button. It can be used as a space-saving replacement for large multi-button devices. All push-button sensors have an integrated bus interface and can be programmed without ETS application. LUXORliving versions can be set up using the free LUXORplug software. Thanks to the frameless design of ID AID, iON is compatible with popular switch families.
Clear comfort
The connection between the temperature sensor built into the iON 102 and iON 104 and the corresponding heating actuator allows easy control of the room temperature. Colour status LEDs indicate the current status of the KNX push-button sensor. This way, for example, the status of outdoor lights or any other connected device can be displayed. If required, the brightness of the status LEDs can be adjusted depending on the ambient light level: if the room is darker, the status LEDs are automatically dimmed, avoiding disturbing lighting effects at night. During the day, the LEDs are brighter, making them easier to see in stronger light. The iON 102 and 104 can be labelled according to individual needs and preferences. You can choose from simple function descriptions such as "Lights on", "TV mode" or "Shades up". Or we can design the labelling to our taste, for example with icons or logos.
More features, more comfort
The iON108 KNX room controllers are equipped with a high quality and extremely durable LC display. Although the high quality retina displays are fantastic, they are not suitable for 24-hour use. LC displays are much more reliable and durable here. You can clearly see what is happening. Choose the right icon from the huge library for each of 10 or 20 functions, and assign appropriate function names such as "ceiling light" or "winter garden shutters". The current status (ON/OFF, dimmed, position) is also displayed. Application in smart buildings or homes couldn't be simpler. About operation. iON 108 KNX can be easily controlled via Bluetooth using an app. This app also works great in meeting rooms or hotel rooms, allowing guests to easily control the room functions themselves.
