Berker Q.3 switch family at the Grand Hotel Valies
The Berker Q.3 range of switches has become an additional jewel in the crown of a recent hotel project. The Grand Hotel Valies, a luxury family hotel in the Netherlands, is located in the centre of Roermond, near the German border. In the newly opened hotel, guests can feel as if time has stood still, as the hotel evokes the atmosphere of 1930s New York. Designed by interior designer Arnie van Dun, the hotel's unique overall décor is in the Art Deco style throughout. The Grand Hotel's 60 comfortable, spacious rooms, its Asian restaurant, the hotel's views of the Roer River and the Maria Theresia Bridge, all provide an unforgettable experience for guests visiting the hotel.
The Berker Q.3 range of switches has contributed to this affordable luxury experience.
Because the aluminium Berker Q.3 switch family, perfectly matching the hotel's decorative elements, not only offers practicality, but also adds style to the hotel's interior. The entire electrical installation of the hotel is also provided by Hager Univers distribution boards and the Hager Domovea building automation system. This beautiful hotel, which opened at the end of October 2018, has an Art Deco style in every room and space. The materials, the shapes, the colours and the attention to the smallest details are a tribute to the designer.
Arnie van Dun, an interior designer, said this about his work:
"The Art Deco style is overly generous, it can do a lot and details play an important role. We respected this throughout the design process, but as always, functionality was the most important thing for us."
